MARDI is the leading organisation for research in food, agriculture, and agro-based industries. For nearly 50 years, they have produced numerous innovations, including crop varieties, livestock breeds, food processing technologies, post-harvest handling methods, and farm management systems like precision farming. Their research also efficiently manages environmental resources such as water, soil, and genetic resources. The technologies they have introduced have helped farmers and entrepreneurs improve productivity and contribute to the country's economic progress.
Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia, is widely regarded as a modern landmark of the Federal Government's center. Visitors can appreciate contemporary and Islamic architecture, such as the Putra Mosque, Perdana Putra, and Putra Bridge, on a half-day tour from Kuala Lumpur.
